How to be productive..
If you are anything like I am, you are very easily distracted with just about anything and everything. I grew up with ADHD so you can only imagine how it was when I was a kid! haha.
Success and failure are a small, seemingly insignificance, daily set of actions over a long period of time. Your daily habits, actions and priorities are crucial for you to hit your goals and ultimately live the good life.
In order for you to hit your goals and live the good life in a relatively short period of time (rather than a super long time) you need to be more productive throughout the day.
Ok, But how do I become more productive throughout the day?!
As Brian Tracy says in his book, Eat That Frog!, you need to eat your biggest and hairiest frog FIRST thing in the day. The “frog” is a metaphor for your most important task.
At the start of your day or work session, you need to sit down and write out your 3-5 MOST important tasks (Big hairy frogs). List these tasks from least to greatest of importance.
Once you have listed these tasks, go to work at your #1 BIGGEST frog/tasks. This is the thing that will effect your work and output the most within your life and/or business.
Put on the blinders..
When you go to work on your #1 most important task.. block out anything and everything that does NOT support you getting this task done fast and efficiently.
