How to do affiliate marketing

For many of us just starting off in learning how to make money online, affiliate marketing is one of the first things we are exposed to. Why? well, unless you have your own product or service, you are going to have to sell someone elses product or service so you can earn a certain percentage (affiliate commission) for them letting you sell their product that they worked so hard to create!

Affiliate marketing is one of the BEST and easiest ways to make money online especially if you are a newbie. All you have to do is sign up to become an affiliate for any product you want to sell at ClickBank.com, Jvzoo.com or Jvnewswatch.com, or any other site that hosts vendors of online products. Next, you take your affiliate link and drive traffic to it! That is how you make money with affiliate marketing in a nutshell.

Do it the right way…

With anything, there is a right way and a wrong way to go out doing things. The “wrong” way to go about doing affiliate is to sign up as an affiliate for a product, then spam the affiliate link/sales page on facebook.

One of the best ways (in my opinion) to go about selling other peoples products is to do YouTube video reviews on the product you want to sell.

Lets say you want to sell the email marketing product, Build My List by Jimmy Kim. You could make a YouTube video that says “Build My List by Jimmy Kim Review”. When that product hits the market/launches, many people are going to FLOOD YouTube wanting info about “Build My List“. If you can rank your “Review video” at the top of the searches people will find your video! When they do find your review video, you will give them just enough information to prompt them to click the link below to go to your blog for the FULL review and/or bonuses.

Once they land on your blog you can then give them the info they are looking for on that specific product then prompt the visitors to click the link on your blog to buy the product.

The other reason why you want to do these reviews on your blog is so you can build an email list! On your blog you will want to have opt-in forms and opt-in pop ups to as for visitors email addresses. In order for them to give you their email address you will want to give them something valuable or something for free: AKA a “lead magnet”.
