If you want to build a successful online business, you need to understand one very, very, very important thing..

..COMMUNITY, is king. Period.

If you look at anyone who runs a successful online business they are building some type of community. Whether that is through an email list, YouTube subscribers, Podcast listeners, Facebook Fan page likes, Instagram followers, twitter followers, etc. Its ideal to have a following on any or all of these platforms.

if you are wanting to build a successful online business with longevity (key) and you are not currently attracting followers on as many social media channels as possible.. you need to get started!

Once you start to build your following online, you provide consistent VALUE to your followers, they will be happy to buy form you. If you don’t sell anything to them (not sure why you wouldn’t want to), large companies will want to put ads in front of them in some way, resulting in money for you either way. For large companies to put ads in front of your community, you typically will need quite a large audience (depending on what platform you are on), that is why its good to monetize your community with your own products or services at first. Ideally, you will want to always monetize your community with your OWN stuff but some people. might not want to.
